The Remote Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring service delivery of all MWD Operations as well as accuracy of all data recorded from Field and Remote Operations Center to the Customer . This includes working with ProDirectional Operations personnel and assisting MWD Coordinators in ensuring MWD Field Personnel are adhering to ProDirectional’s written policies and expectations. The position will tentatively work on a rotational basis (14 days on, 7 days off) on both days and nights and be paid an hourly wage with overtime. The candidate needs to be local to the Houston area or willing to relocate accordingly.
Description & Duties:
· Execute MWD services remotely
· Conduct pre and post-run checks of all MWD files
· Survey and Log as required by the Customer on multiple rigs at a time
· Monitor AC Dashboard & Real-Time field data to ensure all wells are executed in a safe manner
· Troubleshoot and support rigs from ProDirectional’s HQ in Conroe, TX
· Perform all other duties as assigned by Manager
Requirements:
· Proficient in current MWD field software/technology including EclipseTouch, Noralis, DigiDrill, WellSeeker, MS Office Suite, EDR systems – EM experience a plus but not required
· 2+ years experience in MWD Field Operations role and/or MWD Remote Operations role
· Extremely detail oriented, self-motivated, strong written and verbal skills
· Maintain a positive and safe work environment
· Must live in the Houston area
