We’re launching one of the first ever apps on the Zoom app store and need someone that has vision for how to scale this product to the masses. If you have the product-led growth and marketing chops and are hungry to apply your experience to a product on a hyper-growth trajectory then this is the role for you!
As our Head of Growth, you will be responsible for developing and executing growth strategies across a variety of different acquisition channels, optimizing our onboarding and activation funnel performance, and driving product-led and retention growth from our existing users. You will also be a “metrics maniac” to rigorously track and optimize all steps in the funnel, identifying bottlenecks and increasing automation. This role reports directly to our CEO.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute on the company’s growth strategy for all stages in the funnel including defining a roadmap for each acquisition channel
- Oversee all online marketing efforts (SEM/SEO, social media, email, blogs, ads, traditional media) and offline marketing efforts (hosting events, word of mouth, etc.)
- Maximize the effectiveness of user discovery and our onboarding experience
- Develop a system to track conversion rates and measure progress against goals, constantly looking to eliminate bottlenecks, improve processes, and introduce creative ideas and solutions that are quickly tested and evaluated
- Provide customer insight to the Product team by blending data with a deep understanding of user needs, habits, and perceptions developed through targeted interviews, usability studies, and customer feedback
- Identify user personas and translate our product and outcomes into external messaging and communications
- Set up marketing automation, attribution analytics, and CRM systems to capture detailed and timely data at all user/customer touch points
- Communicate strategies and results to the leadership team on a consistent basis
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a product-led growth, growth marketing, or growth hacking role
- Experience and interest in working at early-stage startups
- Experience and/or interest in leading a team
- Possess extremely high expectations of yourself and others
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, cross-functional, dynamic, and ambiguous startup environment
- Experience designing the requirements for activation and product-led growth initiatives
- Experience scaling customer acquisition, activation, and retention
- Experience building, leading, and managing a team of marketers and/or sales persons
- Proven experience with analytics tools (e.g. Amplitude, Segment, GA) and developing KPIs
- Proven experience in online acquisition tactics and best practices
