This position is in Cargill’s food ingredients and bio-industrial business, where we anticipate trends around taste, nutrition and safety to innovate and provide solutions to manufacturers, retailers and foodservice companies.Job Type: Full TimeShift Available: 2nd shift / 3rd shiftCompensation: $19-20/hr; plus shift differentialSign-On Bonus: $1500Principal Accountabilities:* Responsible for the entire packaging process* Relieve Packaging/Warehouse Operators and Packaging Shift Lead when needed* Assists Lead by assures all machinery is functioning correctly, including inspection of all Quality Control focus areas, materials, products, and containers at each step of the packaging process* Ensures the Packaging Line equipment and supplies are ready* Ensures the hold area is being maintained appropriately* Fills supplies as needed and complete paperwork* Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations* Maintaining a safe and clean work environment* Other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:* Eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship* Be 18 years or older* Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)* Basic computer skills* Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation* Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)* Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)* Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment* Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice* At least 6 months of experience in production related workPreferred Qualifications:* Forklift experience* High School diploma or GED equivalent* Working knowledge of Microsoft office software, with an emphasis on Excel and Word* Working knowledge of Inventory SystemsConsidered candidates will receive a phone call from a (952) area code.
