About the Company: 200-year old publicly-traded company that manufactures essential chemical intermediates Approximately 900 employees across US and Europe facilities Achieved Gold Level Sustainability rating by EcoVadis, which places this company in the 97th percentile among peer companies in the EcoVadis rating system What You Will Be Doing: This role will be focused on best practices related to mechanical reliability and will be working to improve the existing predictive and preventive maintenance programs as well as minimize facility down-time. The person will also be an essential member of the site HSE management team and will be providing critical input from a mechanical integrity standpoint. This facility utilizes a wide variety of equipment (steam turbines, blowers, pumps, cooling towers, etc) and the material that they make is corrosive so equipment reliability and mechanical integrity are some of the key areas of focus at this plant. When issues do occur, this role will be on the front-lines of root-cause analysis (RCFA), helping to determine what happened and how it can be prevented in the future. This position reports to the site maintenance manager. Qualifications: B.S. degree in Engineering required, preferably in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; this company is open to consider other degrees, or no degree, with relevant experience 2 years of reliability experience including management or execution of predictive and preventive maintenance programming and experience with root-cause failure analysis Should have experience with mechanical integrity programming Willingness to be on-call – this site utilizes a rotating-schedule for on-call, and the call-ins are not frequent, but must be willing to be on that kind of a schedule
