Regulatory Reporting Specialist – Business

Responsibilities:The Regulatory Reporting Specialist-Business is responsible for ensuring that all state reporting requirements are identified, interpreted and a business solution is developed while ensuring accurate and timely compliance with all state reporting requirements/deadlines.Relate reporting requirements to business processes with the ability to determine and communicate the impacts to reporting.

Will need to participate in inter-departmental teams to ensure that reporting needs and impacts are identified and communicated during development/modification of business processes.Identifies/advises on alternate solutions to ensure data integrity, efficiency, and accuracy are maintained.Review reports to ensure accuracy and reasonableness of the data presented.

Through report review or verification process, identifies and implements process or system enhancements which may lead to improved data integrity, efficiencies or consistencies.

Identifies appropriate internal or external contacts and coordinates development of work groups and plans of action to ensure successful resolution and implementation of enhancements identified.Reviews, researches and interprets Request for Proposal (RFP’s) and other contractual agreements/documents in order to ensure all reporting requirements are effectively identified.Tracks requirements throughout identification, development, testing and implementation to ensure the reporting solution is efficient, accurate and supports the requirement.

Education/Experience:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceExperience with Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word.Display strength in the following skill sets: Organization, Written and Verbal Communication, Attention to Detail, Time Management, Adaptability/Flexibility, Accountability, Teamwork/Collaboration, and Professionalism.Working knowledge of the Medicaid Health Industry along with Claims Processing, Member and Provider data reporting.Project Management experience preferred but not requiredExperience with Associate training and development preferred.Develops and maintains a strong knowledge of all data sources (including, but not limited to the Data WarehouseOccasional travel required.
