Role: Contractor Germplasm Contractual Compliance (GCC) Specialist Location: Remote US and Canada locations in Central and Eastern time zones acceptable. Business / Function: Seeds Traits and Regulatory Reports to role: Germplasm Contractual Compliance Analyst Role purpose: As a contractor, support the Germplasm Contractual Compliance (GCC) Team in processing germplasm acquisition request forms. Accountabilities: Process acquisition and material movement requests in a timely manner. Provide accurate reports to business stakeholders.
Identify, collect, research, and analyze documents to enable the capture of material restrictions and obligations in proprietary software
Maintain data for Key Performance Indicators Knowledge, experience & capabilities Critical knowledge
B.S. or B.A. degree in a relevant biological field (agriculture, plant breeding, genetics, molecular biology, biotechnology or related)
Expert with MS Excel. Skilled in use of VLOOKUP, Sorting, Filtering, Pivot Tables and Charts, and other functions. Skilled in working with Excel files with >250,000 rows and >100 columns
Experience with SmartSheets and data management is beneficial
Proficient with Adobe Acrobat Beneficial experience
Experience with proprietary or commercially available plant breeding support software
Licensing or other contract related experience and knowledge of intellectual property rights in plants and plant-related technologies
Strong familiarity or experience with agribusiness and the seeds lifecycle. Germplasm, biotech, and native trait development; product evaluation; seed production; supply management; and commercial operations
Strong research experience in any area (scientific areas preferred) Critical technical, professional, and personal capabilities
