The Regional Senior Vice President will oversee multiple training sites across an assigned region, providing vision, oversight, and leadership across all aspects of site planning and implementation, inclusive of KPIs, national and local growth, site sustainability, fundraising and regional partnerships.
Oversight & Leadership
- Lead a team of Managing and Site Directors (MDs/SDs) for a defined Company region, including coaching, support, professional development and strategic planning for each site lead and local team
- Hire, train, manage and support MDs/SDs for each PS training site in the region
- Provide interim site leadership and performance management of local markets where needed
- Work closely with MDs/SDs, Chief Impact Officer (CIO) and National Program Team (NPT) to set the annual KPIs for each site and the training org, providing leadership that balances stability and sustainability with growth and program innovation
- Provide leadership and coordination to MDs/SDs and the National Program Team (NPT), in support of robust recruitment, admissions, technical training, career development, job placement, and alumni engagement with a goal of meeting annual KPIs and supporting a dynamic, strong training operation in each market
- Working closely with each MD/SD and in coordination with the NPT, oversee enrollment, graduation, certification and placement KPIs across the region, ensuring that each site meets Company ‘ org-wide training KPIs, as well as delivering against all employer-specific, funder-specific and customized training commitments
- Represent and support the CIO as needed internally and externally, including leading sites, managing workflows, coordinating across teams and departments, making executive decisions, and handling sensitive and privileged information as appropriate
- Work closely with MDs/SDs to support management, professional development and accountability of each local team, with a goal of building a strong, empowered local team in each market, encompassing professional development, advancement planning, and a positive, empowerment-based culture across student body and each local staff
Strategic Growth & Implementation
- In partnership with MDs/SDs, develop a strategic planning vision and annual goals that encompasses, as appropriate, plans to diversify training offerings; fundraising for sustainability and new initiatives; engaging local, regional and national partners; and pilot, launch and fund program innovations
- Coordinate with MDs/SDs departments across Company to drive regular, market-specific analyses of gaps, opportunities, partnerships, funders, and employers
- Coordinate closely with NPT, Development, Customized, and National Growth counterparts on national proposals, customized business opportunities, launch of new markets, and local expansion efforts
- Working closely with each MDs/SDs and in coordination with the Customized training team, ensure that sites deliver on local and regional customized training commitments, balancing adaptability and flexibility of markets with the need to set up each site for success, stability, and sustainability
- Act as the primarily liaison for the Customized team to the Training organization, ensuring strong communication, coordination, and delivery on commitments
- Working closely with NPT leads as appropriate, reinforce and ensure robust utilization of Salesforce to manage and track KPIs, hold team members accountable, and recognize/celebrate success
- Follow local and national workforce, business, and tech industry trends to inform student and employer partner needs
- Guide and bring balance to national support, standardization and growth, with local vision, leadership, and market-specific planning
Regional Fundraising
- Working closely with each MD/SD and in coordination with the Development team, oversee fundraising strategy for each site and across each region, ensuring that each site continually develops, diversifies and grows a sustainable, dynamic funding base
- Ensure that fundraising and growth strategies are aligned across teams, nationally, and locally, and that fundraising and development efforts are responsive to local and regional market strategy and vision, rather than allowing funding opportunities to dictate programmatic goals
- Support and coach each MD/SD in development of a local Advisory Board, acting as a thought partner on board member recruitment, candidate engagement & ongoing Board management
- Build out a vision for regional team building, goals, and annual retreats
- Partner with each MD/SD to build out an event strategy that is locally responsive, sustainable and dynamic
