Regional Leader

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a North America Regional I&D and Employee Experience Leader.

This position can be located at any major Dow site in the U.S.

The NA Regional I&D and EX Leader role supports the corporate I&D and EX strategies through effective championing and implementation across the NA region.

The role reports to the Corporate Director of Inclusion with accountability to the Global EX Champion and the North America Leadership team.

Job responsibilities / duties: Be the voice of the region (VoR) into the global I&D and EX strategies ensuring relevance and translation across the region.

Define a regional implementation plan aligned with the global I&D strategy and own EX improvements in the region.

Work closely with business and functional I&D and EX focal points to implement I&D and EX initiatives within the region.

Be an active participant on the Office of Inclusion team and the EX Core team to stay updated, leverage best practices and provide input on priorities.

Provide expertise and support to regional members of the President’s, Senior Leader and Joint Inclusion Councils.

Be the focal point in the region for rollout of all EX activities and sharing of key EX messages and activities within the region.

Partner with regional HR to infuse diversity and inclusion into people policies and practices.

Collaborate with HR on the development and implementation of sponsorship programs, D&I training, and inclusion interventions that lead to measurable results and long-term behavior change.

Partner with regional Purchasing organization and Supplier Diversity Leader to ensure expectations around Dow’s spend with diverse suppliers are met.

Serve as the Office of Inclusions point of interface for employee resource groups (ERGs) in the region.

Drive ERG engagement and promote collaboration across the ERGs to drive business success.

Operate as the Office of Inclusions resident expert for a particular diversity dimension to follow issues, interests, trends, and best practices and elevate for action, as appropriate.

Serve as a focal point for the regional Inclusion Ambassador network and the EX change champion community.

Establish, own and directly manage relationship support for external D&I partnerships.

Represent Dow externally consistent with the region’s D&I outreach, philanthropy, corporate responsibility and thought leadership initiatives.

Foster an environment of inclusion and positive EX within the region that is recognized internally and externally as a place that people want to work.

Coordinate activities between I&D and EX to gain greater results and impact.

Track and measure impact in the region aligned with corporate I&D and EX metrics.

Lead and/or support enterprise wide I&D projects as needed.

Required Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or relevant military experience at a U.S.

E6 rank or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or higher is required.

A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience is required.

Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time.

A minimum requirement for this U.S.

based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.

No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S.

permanent residency (green card) process.

Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated leadership in diversity and inclusion, employee experience, change/transformational initiatives.

Experience leading or supporting large initiatives.

Experience shaping strategies and implementing key solutions.

Strong project management skills.

Ability to build strong relationships and leverage data to influence at all levels of the organization.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
