HOURS: Full time – Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pm or 9am-5:30pm
*Will Work From Home until team goes back into office
Summary
- Intake processor for outpatient, DME, Pre-elective and home health Prior Authorization request
- Must adhere to all company and department policies and guidelines.
- Make outbound calls to providers for medical records and verifying information requested to ensure PA request is processed accurately
Job Responsibilities:
- Initiate authorization requests for outpatient and inpatient services in accordance with the prior authorization list.
- Route to appropriate staff when needed.
- Verify eligibility and benefits
- Answer phone queues and process faxes within established standards
- Data enters authorizations into the system

Job Requirements:
Required:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of healthcare experience
- Medi-cal background as well as prior auth intake experience preferred
- Billing and coding experience preferred
