Title:
Real Estate Paralegal | 5+ years’ of solid experience in Real Estate with an emphasis in reviewing title and survey documents.
This position will support the firm’s Eminent Domain Practice.

They have specialized in the representation of public and private sector clients for over 50 years.

Job Qualifications and Duties:
Candidates must have solid work history (no job hopping), 5+ years strong Real Estate experience and an ABA approved Paralegal Certificate.
Candidates must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel as well as extensive research skills:
Ordering preliminary title reports and litigation guarantees Reviewing and analyzing title report, litigation guarantee, and underlying recorded documents Conducting research in order to obtain proper address for service of process Working with title officer in order to resolve title issues Preparing grant deeds and easements deeds Preparing title review and objection memos Reviewing tract maps and parcel maps in order to determine location of property Preparing various eminent domain pleading documents Preparing declarations to support various pleading documents Reviewing and analyzing appraisal and survey report Ensuring client reviews and execution of all escrows documents, along with the execution of grant deed/easement deed/ temporary easement/certificate of acceptance Reviewing and analyzing trust documents relating to land transactions Working with tax assessors to deal with tax delinquent properties Reviewing and summarizing title commitments and surveys Preparing and filing a variety of documents, including, deeds, mortgages, memoranda of leases, UCC financing statements, etc.
Coordinating due diligence for a variety of commercial and residential real estate transactions, including, acquisitions and dispositions, borrowings, etc.
Coordinating with various city offices, boards and agencies Working closely with title companies to clear title and obtain title policies Reviewing and summarizing UCC, judgment, tax and other lien searches Preparing closing checklists and coordinating the closing process for various commercial and residential real estate transactions
