We are seeking a Project Engineer with an emphasis on Rail Design/Engineering.
The location can be flexible with in Southern California.
Our Project Engineer will report to the Project/Program Manager and will be hands on in managing technical aspects of projects, internal teams, subconsultants, and contracts.
Primary Duties: Technical support to assist project managers in meeting client and stakeholder expectations.Track and manage technical teams/aspects of engineering project design to meet the schedule, budget, and scope – internal team and subconsultants.Manage technical aspects of cost and schedule data, reports, and scope changes.Manage technical aspects of contract task orders, change orders, expiration dates, budgets, and expenditures.Coordinate project meetings and manage the follow up process/resolutions.Required Qualifications: Technical Design, Management and Leadership experience.Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.Strong communication skills – verbal and written.Ability to interface effectively and collaborate with technical staff, clients, peers, management, and subconsultants to successfully meet shifting needs.Technical background in rail design, engineering for transportation/civil infrastructure projects.Proficient in CAD and design software, MicroStation and Inroads/InRail.
Preferred Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in the engineering industry for Rail.Professional Engineer License.Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 programs and applications.OpenRail proficiency and production experience.
