Radio Producer

Large Music brand in Culver City, CA is seeking a versatile radio producer to join their team. This role is an ongoing assignment with long term potential. Candidates will be required to work onsite and in studio full time.The ideal candidate can edit, understand audio, work with talent, understand creative and scale up and down no matter the assignment. Ability to edit audio using Logic Pro. (VERY important) Interested in working as a team to collaborate and produce excellent deliverables up to the brand standard.Key Qualifications Proven experience in managing multiple, complex entertainment-based projects Skill for creating compelling audio – an “ear” for storytelling Experience working in radio, television, podcasting or broadcasting Experience working with and coaching a wide range of talent and/or artists Extremely well-organized, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work well under pressure with tight and changing deadlines Excellent critical thinking and interpersonal skills Flexible and versatile in nature, able to take on challenges while maintaining and even keel and sense of humor Supporting skills in audio editing software – with a specialty using Logic High aptitude for learning new technology, skills and workflows Passion for music and artists; specifically in the music spaceResponsibilities The producer is the center stone of our radio content creation. Producers are responsible for the development, planning, and execution of radio shows, in line with the strategic goals, creative vision and editorial voice of the brand. Content may extend beyond the radio program including multi-media that requires consideration for both audio and visual delivery. Programming may be broadcast live, pre-recorded, and/or streamed on-demand. Producers are responsible for end to end production of content. They will organize, manage, maintain and archive music, audio, video, photo assets, and deliver content with supporting resources to maximize value and impact. The role requires the navigation of workflows and interfacing with a variety of collaborators including Leadership, Editorial, Operations, Producers, Studio managers, and other technical staff. In addition to internal teams, producers will be the primary point of contact for guest talent, anchors and external-facing teams. Producers should be nimble, quick thinkers with the ability to operate cross-functionally across multiple timelines and projects. Knowledge of music and pop culture is critical. Producers in this role are familiar with radio programming, streaming trends and exhibit the ability to produce unique music-based original content that connects with a worldwide audience.Education: Bachelors degree preferred.Client DescriptionOur client, a leader in consumer electronics, is one of the greatest, most innovative, world-changing companies ever created!
