Talent Acquisition Specialist Summary/Objective:The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting: recruiting, screening and recommending placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external).
This position must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques.
Essential Functions:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Partner with Directors to determine staffing needs.Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.Ensures appropriate assessments are completed.Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone, web or in person),Conducts reference checks.Makes recommendations for local management interview and delivers employment offers.Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.G., benefits, compensation, etc.).Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).Completes weekly report on employment activity.
Supervisory Responsibility:This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:This job operates in a professional office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, smartphones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and scanners.

Work Schedule:This is a full-time position; days of work are Mondaythrough Friday.
Travel:This position requires up to 5% travel.
Experience:At least two years of prior full-cycle recruiting experience.Experience using Applicant Tracking SystemsStrong sourcing skills including Boolean and other strategic ways to attract applicants.Proficient with Microsoft Office productsReliability, self-discipline and strong work ethicAbility to work as part of a teamHigh level of honesty and integrityAbility to prioritize, organize, and perform work assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines.Capacity for sound business judgments and decisions including seeking guidance where neededExcellent written and verbal communications skillsMust be results and metric-driven individual Education:High school diploma requiredBachelor’s degree preferredDegree in Human Resources a plus.
