Associates carry out this main responsibility through cash management, customer assistance, and ensuring the store is at a “WOW” level of cleanliness at all times by cleaning, removing trash, organizing the store, and other duties as assigned by the manager.
Responsibilities Customer Service

Associates are responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive and helpful attitude toward customers, coworkers, and vendors.
Shift Duties
– Shift duties must be completed for a successful store operation.
Associate shift duties include, but are not limited to, stocking and organizing shelves, removing trash, and cleaning the store area.
Cash Management
– Associates are responsible for cash flows throughout the transaction process.
Associates accept payments for sales transactions, produce correct change when necessary, administer lottery ticket purchases, and operate a point-of-sale (POS) system.
Compliance
– Associates must follow all company policies, procedures, state and federal regulations in the sale of age-restricted items.

Requirements Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills Basic mathematical, reading, and writing skills Ability to perform repetitive work accurately with a strict attention to detail Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in a cooler at a temperature of 32 degrees for up to 15 minutes at a time Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, and climb steps for varying periods of time 06022021
