Quality Inspector

SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES: Inspect parts and assemblies at first article, in-process, and final inspection.

Write and perform First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) Evaluate parts for conformance to customer drawings and Aerospace Contacts requirements SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Inspects parts and assemblies to drawing requirements, inspection sheets, and provided specifications Performs First Article Inspection for machine set-ups Performs in-process inspections for assigned machines on each shift Completes all forms and instructions having to do with quality issues, procedures, etc.

Ensures high level of product quality being shipped to customers EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years in a Quality Inspector role in a mechanical inspection capacity Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and associated specifications GD&T Training is a plus Ability to demonstrate the use of various mechanical measuring devices including micrometers, calipers, pin gages, drop indicators, depth gages, and optical comparators.

Experience using optical measurement machines is a plus (CMM, Keyence IM) Good hand and eye coordination to work with very small parts Ability to view parts on microscope to complete inspections Verbal, written, and listening communication skills Detail oriented; problem solver; active contributor Flexible in work assignments, able to multi-task, able to meet deadlines Team player Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00
