An experienced manufacturing company operating out of Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join their team. The company manufactures military equipment including APUs and ECUs.
The ideal candidate has top-notch communication skills and at least 5 years as a dimensional inspector. The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for performing inspections to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, validations, and verifications of items to ensure compliance
- Perform inspections of intermediate-level hardware using surface plate inspections methods
- Use algebra and trigonometry to calculate true positions
- Interpret, demonstrate, and explain inspection issues to customers, engineers, and management
- Perform casting and forging layouts
- Instruct and oversee other inspectors
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a dimensional inspector
- 3+ years of experience using surface plates or computer-aided inspection equipment
- Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Strong communication skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
