Our client, a major manufacturer of lighting technology for the film and tv industry, is seeking a sharp Quality Control Inspector to join their manufacturing department, located in the city of Van Nuys.
This position is one of our client’s key QC positions. You will be responsible for working with the repair technician to make sure that all products coming from the manufacturing department meets quality standards.
Additional duties include:
· Running tests utilizing electrical testing equipment
· Documenting all products and sending the reports to management
· Working with Manufacturing on any problems or issues
· Organizing the workshop
This is a full time, temp to hire position. First shift, from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am. Monday to Friday.
Job Requirements:
This is what we will be looking for in your candidacy
· You have at least 1-2 years of experience in QC work, preferably in testing or something similar
· You know how to read blueprints and schematics
· It is preferred if you know how to utilize electrical testing equipment
· You are able to work Overtime if needed
· You are able to work the hours provided.
· As a condition of employment, you may be required to take and pass a background check and or drug test.
