The Quality Engineer will be responsible for:
- Review any areas of engineering change
- Identify areas of need and recommend process improvement strategies
- Audits of quality systems
- Design and assemble parts as needed
- Perform random audits of instruction and procedures and analyze any findings
- Use KPI’s to execute performance and efficiency strategies relevant to preventative maintenance, quality, safety, and other concepts
The Quality Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred
- Over 1 year of experience
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Working knowledge of APQP and PPAP
