The Position Rightsline is looking for a full-time Quality Assurance Engineer to support our Automated Testing team.

We need a meticulous, logical tester with excellent communication skills and a passion for solving problems.

Experience testing enterprise software is preferred.

The desire to learn and the ability to adapt are required.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will ensure quality and efficiency by overseeing the design, development, execution, and constant improvement of automated code solutions.

This role will be responsible for test automation as a part of our software development lifecycle processes.

This role reports to the QA Manager, but is in constant collaboration with the Engineering, Product, and Customer teams.

The QA Automator is an integral part of building the most comprehensive, intuitive, technology-forward platform with the goal of maximizing the value of intellectual property.

We are looking to fill this role in a remote environment What you will do: Interact with Engineers, DevOps, Product, Support, Business Analysts, and other teams to create maintainable high-quality tests Participate in continual improvement of overall QA processes Design and implement clean, lean automated test cases to reduce repetitive manual testing using Cypress Test Automation framework Maintain the quality, readability, and usability of the repository through regular refactoring Identify and investigate issues found during testing, and update test cases based on discovered defects Code review team pull requests in a swift and timely manner Communicate implementation issues, delays, and mitigation plans Collaborate with teams consisting of cross-functional and/or global groups and assign responsibility to members to develop technical automation solutions Coach, mentor, and support less experienced team members Research, present, and implement third-party tools to enhance testing efforts What you will bring to the role: 2-year Automation Engineer experience or equivalent Expertise designing, developing, and implementing automated code solutions Familiarity with bug tracking software such as Jira Knowledge of Scrum and Agile development methodologies Proficiency in Typescript and JavaScript High proficiency designing, developing, and implementing automated code solutions Strong fundamentals in clean coding best practices, object-oriented programming, and asynchronous JavaScript Proven track record of creating and maintaining build release pipelines, managing deployment schedules, issues, risks, and impediments High proficiency with Git version control Expertise diagnosing and debugging test failures Strong ability to design and follow stylistic and architectural repository standards Hands-on experience using front-end frameworks such as Angular and React.

Hands-on mentorship experience Tech stack must haves: Proven track record of writing automated tests in Cypress testing framework and a strong familiarity with Cypress Dashboard Ability to follow stylistic and architectural repository standards Proficiency in Typescript and JavaScript Other technologies in our environment where experience or knowledge would be helpful: AWS CodeBuild Continuous Integration API client testing tools (e.g., Postman), JMeter, REST APIs, WebSocket, and serverless compute services.
