Work on RMA’s and assist Quality Manager to issue corrective actions. Accurately complete all quality documentation, such as inspection record sheets, quality plans and receiving inspection documents. Assist the Quality Manager in initiating the supplier Non-Conformance reports as required if raw materials are found defective Must have full working knowledge in the use of inspection tools and gages, such as calipers, height gages, depth gages, micrometers and thread gages The ability to be responsible for assigned tasks and the authority to perform them Notify supervisors and other personnel of production problems, and assist in identifying and correcting these problems EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Employee must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 – 4 years of documented, related experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing environment. Basic computer skills are required. LANGUAGE SKILLS • Must possess the ability read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, engineering blueprints, and be able to understand and apply GD&T concepts. • Obtain product information such as specified material, surface finish, and dimensions from blueprints and engineering specs. • Possess the ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions from work instructions, process specifications, and direction of supervisor in completing a variety of inspection tasks. • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before employees in the organization.
