Our Client, a precision aerospace parts manufacturer, located in Van Nuys CA, is looking for an experienced QC inspector for the Machining Department.
Inspect parts to applicable manufacturing work instructions, blue-prints, specifications and other customer required data, Perform inspections on operation set
– ups, in operations or special process, and finished parts to ensure conformance to work instructions.
Final inspect parts, documentation and work completion to customer requirements and document results on AS9102 compliant inspection format.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Inspect part and special processes per drawings, customer requirements, and Manufacturing Procedure work instructions.
• Operate appropriate inspection equipment or methods to verify conformance to requirements.
• Document inspection results as required on Manufacturing Procedures, final inspection report ( FIR) , and AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) REQUIRED SKILLS: Must be able to use inspection tools and interpret blue prints, specifications and certifications to verify product conformity.
Must be able to read and write in English and use basic computer functions including Microsoft Office programs and DBC MRP system.
• Aerospace Background a plus Education Required: Six month prior O.J.T High School diploma or equivalent, or the passing of company designated performance assessment.
