ConsumerTrack has big growth plans ahead and is looking for a QA Intern who is eager to actively learn and engage in our QA processes and grow both personally & professionally.
This is a 12-week summer internship that will provide hands-on experience working on challenging real-world problems that will help build your expertise and resume!
What will you do?
Actively participate in agile ceremonies with software developers and product owners (or business analysts) Help product owners to write clear and concise acceptance criteria for the user stories Perform both manual and automation testing of our applications with cross browser and cross device testing Build testing solutions and troubleshoot issues in order to delivery high quality products Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Selenium Web Drive with PHP in BDD format to reduce repetitive manual testing Identify gaps in the current test coverage and future test implementation(s) Review regression/smoke test results, troubleshoot and report any issues during build verifications
Requirements
Bachelor of Computer Science Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience Have a strong interest in the related field Knowledge of any Object Oriented Programming Language, preferably PHP Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle process Demonstrate ability to work within a collaborative source-code repository system, i.e.

Git, GitHub, etc.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Be detail-oriented, deadline driven and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Must be hungry and eager to learn Strong communication (written and verbal) and critical thinking skills Must be available to work 15 hours a week (between Mon-Fri, 9-6pm) for the duration of the 12-week program
Good To Have
Experience with API testing
– manual (using tools like Postman/swagger) & automated (REST Assured/CURL).

Working knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Docker, etc.

Knowledge of writing SQL queries.

Knowledge of cloud services.

Working experience in financial domain.
