JOB TITLE: QA Analyst – Full Time (Temporary) JOB SCOPE/ SUMMARY:Evaluate, test systems and software to verify programs function according to specifications and standardsESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Create test plans, test cases, test data and test systems to ensure compliance to specifications and documentation. Identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in system functions, outputs, online screens and content. Document, track, and communicate test plans, test results, analysis and unresolved problems and assist users and developers to isolate possible problems in software after implementation. Respond to inquiries from users and user support staff regarding functions and operations of software programs. Analyzing users stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility Collaborate closely with other team members and departments JOB QUALIFICATIONS:EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAssociate Degree in a computer or equivalent work experience in Information Systems analysis or supportKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES RECOMMENDED FOR POSITION: 3 year experience as a software tester or similar role Good understanding of QA processes, methodologies and approaches with respect to Software Development Life Cycles, including Agile/Scrum processes Considerable knowledge of end-user business processes, policies, procedures, personnel, protocol and problem solving Knowledge of MS Office Suites and/or software applications related to job functions Knowledge of browser and mobile testing Ability to develop and work according to structured plans within specified deadlines and give proper attention to details Ability to communicate effectively Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Critical thinker and problem-solving skills Strong motivation to work in a fast-pace detail-oriented environment Fast learner of new tools, processes and methodologies. Experience with a Jira, ServiceNow or similar defect tool
