Youll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth.Our Operations Support team monitors the overall quality of our service.

Delivery of support will be provided through a combination of staff, contractors and vendor managed service agreements.

This team is responsible for adherence to Service Level Agreements for Level 2 and 3 application support services regardless of delivery source.Job Requirements and Preferences:Basic Qualifications:Minimum Degree Required:High School DiplomaMinimum Years of Experience:4 year(s) of progressive roles managing IT operations quality control, process improvement, and compliance.Preferred Qualifications:Degree Preferred:Bachelor DegreePreferred Fields of Study:Information Technology, Computer Systems Analysis, Management Information SystemsCertification(s) Preferred:Linux Certifications (varied), ITIL certificationPreferred Knowledge/Skills:Demonstrating extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader by:Hosting service operations, particularly in the realm of the Linux operating system; Administrating/engineering advanced systems of multiple Linux flavors (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu); Scripting solutions to meet specific needs (i.E Bash, Python, etc); Working knowledge of configuration management platforms (e.G.

Puppet, Satellite, Ansible); Administrating common cloud providers (Azure, GCP, AWS) and virtualization technologies (HyperV, VMware); Demonstrating understanding and commitment to ITIL processes and standards; Delivering cross-border global services and working in virtual teams; Working with Leadership and team members maintaining a holistic view on IT infrastructure and displaying professional communication, judgment, analytical, and leadership skills; Strategizing, configuring and ongoing operating system (OS) patching of supported Linux operating systems; Operating system hardening in compliance with global security requirements; Configuring baselines and security templates development and deployment; Managing a lifecycle of Linux operating system platform; Overseeing workstream deliverables, including regular reporting, capacity, availability and regular SOPs reviews and updates; Leading a team and any related outsourced functions, prioritizing work, ensuring that tickets are handled as per service level agreements (SLAs); Participating in the GHS certification efforts (ISO27001, SOC-2 etc) and ensuring compliance with all processes and procedures; Working with other teams to establish that IT Disaster Recovery plans are up-to-date and tested annually; Working with project teams, TDAs and the applications teams implementing new operating systems standards; Providing inputs for annual budget and tracking actuals vs.

budget; Identifying automation opportunities and driving continuous improvements; Working with third-party service providers to establish quality and consistent delivery of service to published SLAs; Working with Asset and Configuration Management across the GHS; Maintaining compliance with Change Control Processes and adhering to standards and documentation; Monitoring Service Desk systems (ServiceNow) and responding to issues that have been escalated to the GHS that are Linux related; Working with other GHS Operations teams to establish that an IT Continuity plan is in place for Linux related core infrastructure and tested annually; Collating of data and the distribution of daily and monthly operational reports as required; Being responsible for awareness and compliance with all aspects relating to policy and guidelines of the Information Security Management System (ISMS), including but not limited to the Information Security Policy (ISP); Creating, adopting and staying compliant with all processes and procedures relating to server technology and facilities to maintain certifications such as SOC-2 and BSI 27001; Performing all related job functions following established processes and procedures in order to preserve the confidentiality of information hosted and managed by the PwC IT Service Co from unauthorized disclosure; Protecting the integrity of information hosted and managed by the PwC IT Service Co.
