Job Description: Applied Technology & Science is looking for a Proposal Writer/RFP Specialist to join our team.
This person will be responsible for spearheading and managing the entire lifecycle of Requests for Proposals for ATS.
We are looking for someone who has experience in all aspects of the proposal process
– from supporting the management team in initial brainstorming, establishing initial contact, all the way to the issuance of the request for proposal by the client.
They will be creating a schedule for the proposal, reading through the RFP, responsible for all written responses to client questions on the application, and pulling it all together to submit.
They will support ranges from formatting and establishing the presentation of the material for the proposal to researching, gathering, writing, organizing and meeting final deadlines.
They will handle multiple requests regarding the development of the proposal, managing a company data archive of past and present project performance, and analyzing market competition.
Requirements: 3-5 years of experience with handling and managing proposals through the entire lifecycle Excellent writing skills
– technical writing as well Experience with responding to RFP’s and tailoring responses to meet client goals and initiatives Experience putting together proposals from start to finish and creating aesthetically pleasing proposals Preferable but not required, experience working within the engineering consulting field
