Proposal Specialist – REMOTE

Reporting to the Sr.

Proposal Manager, the Proposal Specialist is responsible for assisting with proposal preparation (typically 100-150 pages each, at a rate of one to two proposals per week) dependent upon requirements of the RFI/RFQ/RFR/RFP, this may include generation of presentation mediums such as PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets.

In this role you may also support the development of the companys brand through the development of material for social media, tradeshows, recruiting events, etc.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Develops responses to bid opportunities.

Template creation for each RFx opportunity must understand how to read and interpret documents and recognize requirements.

Writes (and/or assists in writing), develops, and produces proposals.

Coordinates with other managers or subject matter experts to obtain information content for proposals.

Coordinates the entire life cycle of the bid process including review upon receipt, identification of proper parties to solicit response information from, RFP process tracker, deadlines, amendments, Q&A submission/retrieval, schedules and coordinates opportunity announcement meetings, strategy meetings, schedules, and coordinates follow up meetings as necessary, supplemental information requests, gather responses from all pertinent parties, produces response and reviews final submission with the team to obtain approval on same and submits proposal to meet required deadlines (could be virtual or physical submission dependent on the RFx requirements).

Organizes/Develops pricing spreadsheets for proposals and may compare various pricing options.

Assist in content library creation, tags, management, and RFx repository.

Portal management for various RFx access sites.

Other duties as assigned including conducting business/market research.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education Bachelors degree in Marketing, Journalism, Mass Communications, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.

Experience 3 years of related work experience with proven results.

Skills Proficient computer skills and Microsoft products, specifically high proficiency in MS Powerpoint Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) with diverse groups of people and routinely produce positive outcomes.

Ability to present information and respond to questions from employees and vendors Ability to work over 40 hours per week as may be required from time to time depending upon business requirements and proposal deadlines (sometimes outside of normal business hours and/or weekends) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision must have excellent time management Ability to incorporate edits, rewrites, and suggestions into proposals as directed Ability to function in a fast-paced, driven, environment that requires high attention to detail and excellence in multi-tasking Can quickly respond to changing trends, innovation, destabilization, industry shifts, and so forth PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education Master’s degree in business, administration, marketing, or communications.

Experience Prior staffing Industry Experience highly desirable.

WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in an office environment either at headquarters and/or a remote office.

The noise level in the work area is usually low.
