Overview: Property Administrator for class A office portfolio.

On-site management office with Leasing collaboration.

The Property Administrator reports to the Property Manager, Senior Property Manager or General Manager and provides a variety of clerical and administrative support services to the Property Management Team.

The individual in this position works closely under the direction of the Property Manager, Senior Property Manager or General Manager and the duties and responsibilities may include assisting with budgeting, financial reporting, billing rent, collecting rent, accounts payable, vendor services, and maintaining files.

Responsibilities: Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable, including collection of rent, accruals, payment of expenses, common area maintenance estimates, true-ups, reconciliations, compliance with lease terms, and preparation of all related documentationResponds to tenant requests and needs and coordinates with Property Management Team to assist in resolving issuesAssist in the selection and performance of vendor services, including preparation of request for proposals and service agreementsMonitor vendor performance to ensure compliance and standards established in the service agreement are being metResponsible for scheduling and facilitating maintenance with vendors and tenantsDocument and track all certificates of insurance from vendors and tenantsMaintain accurate and pertinent information for vendors and tenantsPrepare correspondence and memos to tenants and vendorsEstablish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external tenants and vendorsMaintain all lease and property related filesAnswer and direct incoming callsOpen and distribute incoming mailSchedule and coordinate meetings and tenant events Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business, real estate or financeCandidate will possess a minimum of three years related experienceProficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelAbility to express ideas clearly in written and verbal communicationsStrong organizational skills and detail orientedProven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service Our Equal Opportunity Commitment: Avison Young practices as an equal opportunity employer in all services locations around the world.
