Job Title: Production Assistant
Hybrid/On-site: 2-3 Days in Santa Monica – Activision – The Pen Factory
We are currently seeking a Production Assistant to work at Activision Headquarters in support of our development teams with logistics, scheduling, and related administrative services on specific titles.
Looking for game passion and any experience little in games or entertainment. This is a role that we want passionate people, and we have a track record of converting them to full time. Job will be assisting team on Marketing and Game related needs including builds, set up of incentive tracking and overall support. Good on boarding and they will be given smaller tasks as they progress. This is an excellent start and looking for people that want to break into Game Production and being taught by veteran talent production team. CS degree, high communication skills, energetic go getters, and passion for games.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:
- Product Coordination – Assist Associate Producer and Producer with game production across multiple current and next-generation platforms. Provide clear communication and organized task tracking while supporting developer relationships, schedule management, QA, and submissions.
- Publishing Support – Assisting with build deliveries to team members, management, and external vendors. Also, help with project tasks such as event setup, demos, research & analysis, build verification and asset management. Organize and track progress of vendor contracts and invoices.
- Documentation – Write and proof game feedback, user manuals, meeting notes, strategy guides, ratings materials, feature decks and other requested documents as necessary for the project.
- Administrative/IT support – Assist with everyday office needs including workstation setup, sending out mail and/or packages, booking and setting-up meeting rooms, and printing requested materials.
- Internal Playtests – Assisting with the entire playtest session including build setup, coordination, in-test monitoring, note-taking, and post-test analysis. Work with the Associate Producers to compile and disseminate feedback from test sessions.
Job Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Interactive Media, Game Design and Management, Entertainment Technology, or another related field
- Adept project and task management skills
- Demonstrate a passion and knowledge of the video game industry
- Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills
- Open and clear communication ability
- Team collaboration
- Previous work experience in game production preferred
