Product Design Prototyper

Summary:The main function of a Product Design Prototyper (PDP) is to create provide clarity on how a particular experience feature or function needs to work through the creation of UX vignettes in augmented or virtual reality.

A PDP is also responsible for collaborating with other prototypers and product teams throughout the teams to; help accelerate decision making, articulate a vision of what should be, or builds tools which accelerate our team.JobResponsibilities:Research, design, and create interactive prototypesCollaborate with other Design teams to build new / enhance existing experiencesSet up and communicate prototypes and present to various audiencesCommunicate rationale and intent to your cross-functional partnersIdentify and implement the appropriate constraints to ensure technical feasibilityGive and solicit real-time feedback from others in order to approve the quality of the productPartner effectively with cross functional partners to implement the user experience.Contribute to strategic decisions, working with the Design, Product and Executive teams Skills:Experience with real-time 3D developmentAdvanced or expert programming ability in one or more languages (C#, C/C++, Python, Java)Experience with AR/VR and product developmentVerbal and written communication skills and problem solving ability are required.Expert ability to execute spatially, while understanding core aspects of interaction design.Previous identifying opportunities to improve UX through focussed experimentation.Expert problem solving and conflict resolution skills Education/Experience:Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience requiredClient DescriptionBased in Menlo Park, California, this top social media company builds technologies that help people connect.
