– Cockpit Job Summary: Our client in Auburn Hills, MI is looking for a Product Design Engineer
– Cockpit.
This is a contract position.
What You Will Do: The Interior Cockpit Product Design Engineer will develop cockpit components and will drive the development process for both product developed with inside and co-design.
The candidate will be responsible to design, release, and validate Cockpit systems and components.
They will lead the process from inception through launch.
The Candidate must be an energetic leader who proposes feasible solutions and leads the team through the product development process.
Basics: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
2 years of experience in DRE of Cockpit Systems in one or more areas below: Instrument Panel Systems and Components, Console System and Components, Door Trim Systems and Components (prefer 3 years of exp) Self
– Starter with ability to lead and direct a cross-functional team.
Energetic leader.
Willing to support plant or quality issue root cause activities at assembly plants and suppliers.
