Salary: $48.00 USD Hourly – $52.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a remote Procurement Specialist!! This position will be for a long term contract with great possibility to move to a permanent placement with one of the nation’s biggest healthcare providers!
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Understand the key components of basic agreements and how legal terms impact business terms and vice versa.
- Be able to articulate high-level understanding of the issues with confidence to the legal team as relates to both client contract requirements and supplier edits
- Ability to understand varied templates and understand how clauses relate to one another, including the statement of work, and other contract components such as exhibits and schedules.
- Understand how to make templatized language adapt to fit the services being procured in accordance with client’s expectations and review.
- Ability to write contract language that is clear and concise and in conformance to a client’s preferences in terms of contracting style and company culture.
- Ability to review statements of work and/or requirements provided by a business partner, and hone in on missing information in order to provide a more high-quality work product and reduce risk to the client.
- Ability to apply contracting best practices to all work product.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must live in California
- 5-7 years of experience in procurement most importantly with initial engagement with stakeholders and suppliers
- Extensive experience in the intake process
- Experience with RFPs and Contract language
- Experience with healthcare is nice to have (Nice to have but NOT required) Bachelors degree
