Description The Department of Molecular and Medical Pharmacology is currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to join our team. As the Procurement Coordinator, you will provide essential purchasing support for various entities, including departments, divisions, research labs, and units within the department. Your primary responsibility will be serving as the main point of contact for all procurement needs. You will oversee, coordinate, report, and perform purchasing activities to ensure smooth operations. This will involve completing purchases, providing travel support, and processing reimbursement requests for faculty and staff members, all while ensuring compliance with University policies. Acting as a crucial liaison between the campus unit and vendors, you will play a vital role in facilitating timely and efficient purchase and payment processes. Your excellent communication and organizational skills will be instrumental in maintaining strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that purchases align with the department’s objectives. Full salary range: $26.48-$53.40 The targeted or expected salary range for this position is $65,000 annually.
