As a member of the Privacy Engineering team, you will develop next-generation privacy technologies that impact how we collect, use, and share (nap.com/privacy_at_snap) user data.
You’ll be collaborating across the company and touch on all stages of the data lifecycle; from privacy-preserving client-side data collection and model training (nap.com/device-distributed-machine-learning) , to differentially-private data releases, and aggregating/data sharing using secure multi-party computing (SMPC) techniques.What you’ll do:+ Use techniques like differential privacy and cryptography to develop systems that preserve and improve privacy+ Guide the development of industry leading privacy products and features+ Build privacy-preserving systems such as end-to-end encryption, client-side machine learning and SMPC librariesMinimum qualifications:+ Experience in one or more of the following areas: software systems at-scale, differential privacy, or SMPC.+ PhD in Privacy/Cryptography/Statistics/ML is strongly preferred.+ Experience with C/C++ Or Java Or Python Or R.Preferred qualifications:+ 1+ years of relevant work experience in building privacy-preserving systems, differential privacy or SMPC._At Snap, we believe that having a team of diverse backgrounds and voices working together will enable us to create innovative products that improve the way people live and communicate.
