In this vital role, you will be responsible for the development, validation and execution of clinical biomarker assays employing a variety of platforms to support our drug development efforts.

The candidate will be an integral member of a dynamic group of scientists and platform experts.

The specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Collaborate with world-class scientists representing multiple therapeutic areas in the Clinical Biomarkers & Diagnostics organization and diverse groups of colleagues from other functional areas.

Employ a wide variety of platforms in our biomarker laboratory to develop and validate biomarker assays to support and advance various clinical programs.

Use cutting-edge tools and innovative approaches to generate, analyze, interpret and present data to the stakeholders.

Manage external partners to implement our biomarker strategies.

The professional we seek is a highly motivated Scientist with these qualifications.

Basic Qualifications: PhD degree with 3 years of scientific experience OR Masters degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR Bachelors degree and 7 years of proven experience Preferred Qualifications: Broad understanding of biomarker assay development and qualification process and guidelines Basic understanding of disease biology and biomarker approaches in multiple therapeutic areas Deep understanding of biomarker assay platforms particularly those that are used to assess soluble biomarkers such as ELISA Luminex, MSD, Simple-plex, Quanterix, O-Link and SomaLogic is required; knowledge of cell-based (including flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry) and genomics platforms is highly desirable Experience working in a matrixed environment to execute biomarker assay development and validation employing innovative approaches to support clinical trials.

Experience mentoring and managing laboratory scientists.

Project management skills to meet critical timelines associated with various activities to support biomarker assessment of clinical samples.

Demonstrated track record of critical independent thinking, troubleshooting ability and innovative approaches to solve complex questions.

Ability to multi-task and handle multiple studies with creative and collaborative approach.

Must be able to work and coordinate with internal stakeholders as well as external partners such as CROs and vendors to support outsourced activities Experience with complex data analysis and interpretation.
