Prenatal Diagnosis Coordinator – Prenatal Diagnostics – Genetics Counselor

SUMMARY: Serves as a coordinator of functions, processes and services for the Prenatal Diagnostic service. Functions as the Hospital liaison for service line development and marketing. Works in collaboration with outside agencies and physicians, as needed, Hospital leadership, staff, and other departments throughout the organization to ensure operational effectiveness, market development, and high quality patient interactions. Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of policies, practices and systems to support and enhance the quality of services provided. Performs technical functions, counseling, and case management of prenatal diagnostic patients.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Masters Degree in Genetics Counseling required, BLS – Basic Life Support required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position, ABGC – Am Board Genetic Coun-Diplomat Or ABGC – Am Board Genetic Coun-Diplomat Active Candidate Status required. Minimum five (5) years experience in applicable medical genetics setting required. Bilingual skills preferred.
