PR Coordinator

The Public Relations Coordinator will report directly to the PR Manager.

They will be responsible for supporting the team by promoting or creating the Company’s public image, helping to maintain the Digital Domain corporate image and identity, ensuring efficient coordination of operations and activities, and supporting the public relations and communications initiatives on behalf of Digital Domain’s core business and global corporate needs.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Drafting media relations pitches, press releases and internal memos in accordance with
company goals.
Researching, coordinating, and executing company’s public relations activities to support a range of feature film/commercials/games projects/productions.

Includes handling event planning, coordinating creative/show assets, coordinating and overseeing publicity photography, organizing press mailings, etc.

Researching and staying abreast of current and new social media platforms and technologies in order to find new ways to promote Digital Domain and its services, both domestically and globally.

Creating PR and social media content regarding nominations and awards for Digital Domain.

Researching and running analytics on all social channels and platforms to tailor content plans.

Researching and overseeing the sourcing and production of materials from vendors.

Serving as first point of contact for PR and Marketing team across Digital Domain studio
locations worldwide.
Coordinating with internal sources and stakeholders on key marketing dates and design plans and serving as liaison among departments.

Coordinating and overseeing PR logistics involving studio visitors, conferences, and press events.

Performing other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Education and/or Experience Required:
Bachelors in PR, Communications or a closely related field
Skills, Abilities, Special Licenses or Certificate:
Must possess exemplary administrative and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Excellent listening and interpersonal skills required.

Must be able to professionally interface
with all levels of internal and external personnel and clients.
Highly responsible, discreet and sensitive to quick turnaround deadlines.

Must possess exceptional attention to detail.

Must understand social media and be an active participant on leading platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram Snapchat, among others.

Contract length: 12 months

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00
– $30.00 per hour
