Job Description The SS&C Compliance team is a division within the greater SS&C GlobeOp Hedge Fund & Loan Services organization.

The Compliance Team specializes in providing fund compliance services for asset/fund managers, across a variety of leveraged loan funds such as CLOs and Separately Managed Accounts.

Position: Portfolio Compliance Analyst
– FTE (Associate Manager) Location: US (NY/Boston/East Coast -Hybrid) Responsibilities: Perform operational client facing responsibilities: Process, update, analyze and review compliance tests and reports for SMA and CLO funds for clients.

Run and validate pre-trade/hypo reports and results upon request for new trades across funds Overseeing CLO funds including data recons, waterfall projections, and Trustee monthly report recon and waterfall review process on behalf of client Review fund documents (ie CLO indenture, IMA documents) and interpret compliance rules, and then model and maintain fund specific portfolio compliance tests within SS&C proprietary compliance system.

Participate in project work (both client facing and internal): Assist in project related to the continued build out and enhancements to the compliance monitoring platform and technology capabilities.

Hand on involvement with projects addressing current and ongoing issues and improvements to existing platform.

Perform regular and ad hoc internal and external reporting and analysis, and when needed.

Assist in the onboarding process for new SMA and CLO funds, from set-up to go-live, by participating in new fund compliance rule logic set up, CLO waterfall modeling, internal user testing, user review of final output and reports.

Skills/Requirements Bachelors degree in a quantitative track such as business/finance/engineering/computer sciences or related discipline Minimum of 3 years of experience working with fixed income and leveraged loan securities or similar asset class with foundational experience in investment guideline monitoring and/or CLO mechanics, including compliance tests, waterfall, and CLO lifecycle events (closing, effective date, post reinvestment period, etc).

Experience in reading IMAs, OMs, CLO Indentures and related governing documents.

Some experience using a compliance system preferred, such as CDO Suite/Solvest, WSO Compliance, Charles River, Allvue, etc.

Excellent attention to detail and strong analytics, and problem solving skills.

Technology savvy Proactive team player mentality Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
– this is critical as this position will be working closely within a team, and interface directly with client and outside parties on a day to day basis.

Solid MS Excel skills
– solid intermediate/advanced level grasp of excel functions (vlookup, pivot tables, etc) and formulas is preferred.

Ideal candidates would come from a peer firm, trustee shop, Big 4 Accounting firm or CLO manager.
