Religion of Sports
Co-Founded by Tom Brady, Michael Strahan and Gotham Chopra, Religion of Sports has produced hundreds of hours of content, with more than 250 million views/listens across all mediums, including unscripted and scripted short-form and long-form video, podcasts, branded partnerships, and commercials. We’re developing a new slate of talk podcasts and you could be a key part of our team.
The Podcast Development Producer will work closely with company leadership to conceptualize, pilot, and launch new talk shows that focus on stories, big ideas, health, wellness, and of course sports. You should love the challenge of telling compelling stories through conversation, be excited about working in a nimble startup environment, and be an experienced audio producer. This is a full-time staff position that reports directly to the Head of Talk. The job is based in LA.
- Produce multiple pilots for review and testing
- Be part of the team that shapes the direction and content of each pilot
- Work closely with hosts and other team members to bring each pilot from idea to finished product
- Generate segment ideas
- Record, edit and mix audio
- Research and write scripts and interview questions
- Book guests
- Track and organize audio for multiple ongoing projects
- Complete projects on deadline
- Help with the next stage of shows that are greenlit for launch
- Facilitate and maintain clear communication between audio and other departments, vendors, and team members
- Minimum of 4 years of experience producing audio for podcast or broadcast
- Ability to record, cut, and mix multitrack audio
- Ability to write well
- Ability to manage multiple projects under deadline pressure
- Highly collaborative and the ability to work well with a diverse team
- Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience developing new programs
- Familiar with talk podcasts, specifically in the health, wellness, and sports categories
- Some experience in journalism
