PODCAST ASSOCIATELos Angeles, CAMajor talent agency with offices in Los Angeles, New York & London is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist in the quickly growing podcast team in our Los Angeles office.The Podcast Associate position requires an individual to work well within a team and be prepared for a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment.

This individual is expected to show initiative, resourcefulness, exhibit accountability, and understand the role well enough to work independently as needed.

Strong leadership qualities, excellent phone and communication skills, multi-tasking and versatility are invaluable in this role.

Candidate should be experienced and well-versed in the world of podcasts as well as the talent who became successful on them.Job Duties:
● Manage and evaluate pitches from internal and external channels, assist with general podcast inquiries
● Handle network coverage/mandates to proactively pitch projects, help grow books of business and forge new network relationships
● Continued efforts to identify, develop and pitch opportunities for existing digital clients will be key
● Maintain active list of potential show pursuits
● Execution of ongoing podcast deals (includes booking guests, managing ads, scheduling recording sessions in studio etc.)
● Assist with the creation of various press materials (including media kits, press releases, pitch materials), internal documents and organizational systems, etc.
● Oversee the LA studio schedule/operationsQualifications and Skills:
● Previous assistant, coordinator or relevant experience required
● You love podcasts and audio storytelling and have prior experience in the field
● Understanding of the podcast and social media industry, and eager to understand emerging technology and platforms
● Excellent written, communication, and organization skills, with an exceptional attention to detail
● Ability to think and work creatively/strategically to succeed in a fast-paced environment, manage multiples tasks, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
● Proven ability to work collaboratively on a team
● Ability to comfortably interface with high profile clients and to use high level of discretion/confidentiality
● Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Google Docs, Megaphone, YouTube, Patreon, AsanaMust be located in Los Angeles
