NOW HIRING – King Air 200 Pilot – Redding, CA
- $107,256 – $117,982 (Equals base plus 20% Geo Modifier)
- $15K sign on bonus (after successful completion of training/checkride) NO TRAINING CONTRACT!!
- $40K retention bonus (6 month wait period and this is a 3-year program)

We’re hiring a fixed wing King Air 200 Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to our customers. This pilot will be qualified to fly our King Air planes . Scheduled shifts run 1 week on/1 week off and service day or night trips. Safety is a key pillar of our services, therefore all of our pilots work on a quality, professional team that are committed to high safety standards for the crew and our customers.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Commercial Airplane Multi Engine Land (C-AMEL) Required. Must be willing and able to obtain ATP within 5 years of employment.
- Valid and unexpired drivers license
- Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate
- 2,500 total flight hours
- 2,000 Fixed Wing hours
- 1,000 PIC hours
- 500 Cross Country hours
- 500 multi-engine hours
- 100 night hours
- 75 instrument (50 actual) hours
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to function in a single pilot IFR environment
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally, effectively and persuasively.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure, work efficiently and accurately with frequent interruptions, and set/re-set multiple priorities.
- Presents a professional image as a Cal-Ore Life Flight team member.
- Maintains a positive team attitude with flight crew members, maintenance technician, and communication specialist by working cohesively.
- Works independently and tolerates high stress levels while maintaining a good rapport with co-workers.
- Maintains ongoing knowledge of relevant aviation SOP’s.
Physical Requirements:
- Requires activities requiring a moderate amount of standing, sitting and walking.
- Capable of lifting 70lbs floor to bench height.
- Able work an overnight 12 hour shift.
Work Schedule:
- The pilot schedule is a 12 hour shift, 7 days on and 7 days off, typically beginning at 0500 or 1700. Sometimes a flight shift may extend past 12 hours, but usually not longer than 15 hours.
