The Field Drafter will be responsible for sketching piping circuits as indicated on the P&IDs and as is seen in the field.
Requirements Ability to legibly sketch piping components (valves, reducers, etc.) using pencil and sketchpad on an isometric plane General understanding of industry standards regarding piping symbols and nomenclature Exhibit safe work practices & understanding of required PPE Read, understand, and follow Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs) General understanding of working in Oil/Gas, Chemical plants, or similar industries Able to work in hot & cold weather conditions Work under a supervisor but capable of starting own work Neat, legible hand writing Basic understanding of unit processes, process flow, and unit operations (permitting) Ability to collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team that consists of other professionals with various backgrounds in the engineering/inspection fields
