PI PARALEGAL -URGENT NEED

This PI PARALEGAL Position Features: •Great Pay to $70K ActOne Legal Staffing is currently assisting a few plaintiff’s side PI firms with an immediate need to hire! Based on the firms’ trial calendars for next quarter, they are in immediate need to hire a self-sufficient PI plaintiff side experienced paralegal. These top trial firms perform at a top flight level and are seeking on add the “best of the best” to their trial teams. Ideal candidate(s) will have previous experience working at a high volume practice. Must have at least 5+ years plaintiff’s side personal injury experience. Bilingual Spanish is a plus. Responsibilities: . have high level experience with responding and propounding discovery in personal injury cases •have experience Handling high volume of personal injury; •Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents with state and federal court; •Assist in drafting pleading, notices, and discovery responses; •Draft and process incoming and outgoing correspondence; •Managing calendars/deadlines; •Schedule, confirm and assist attorneys in preparation for depositions; •Prepare materials for review by expert witnesses; •Assist in the preparation for court proceedings (including, but not limited to, assisting with trial preparation and maintaining communication with clients and experts); •Organize and maintain electronic case files within the company software/case management system. Requirements: 1. Professional and courteous to clients and staff; 2. Detail oriented, team player, positive, energetic, kind, well-spoken with excellent customer service skills; 3. Perform at a high level fast-pace environment with minimal supervision; 4. Skilled with computers and software as well as organized; 5. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (including Outlook, Word), Adobe Acrobat Pro, and typing speed over 60 WPM; 6. Demonstrate good ethics, judgment and maintain the confidentiality of files.
