Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Photographer.
The person will be responsible for:
Conducting on-site photoshoots with product and models in our DTLA studio
Capturing high-quality images that align with our brand style guides through the use of proper lighting, composition, and prop styling
Coordinating the setup/breakdown of camera equipment, lights, props, shooting surfaces, and set walls
Handling a high-volume studio workflow and executing lifestyle product imagery under tight and overlapping deadlines for several product lines
Owning the organization of shoot content by processing files consistent with Pangaea sizing/format/naming convention requirements
Partnering with the Lead Photographer and producers to manage, execute and meet daily workflow and weekly production deadlines
Participating in strategy planning, creative direction, and content performance analysis meetings with the Creative Team via Zoom
Requirements:
Los Angeles based
Professional experience as a product or brand photographer
Portfolio of both natural and studio lighting that outlines a strong understanding of product photography, lighting, composition, and modern styling aesthetics
Must be comfortable directing talent and teammates to ensure shotlists are captured accurately and completely
Stays on top of image trends and understands how to portray our products across various platforms (website > social media > performance marketing)
Captures and edits images in Capture One/Lightroom/Photoshop
Ability to work on a diverse, collaborative team but also operate autonomously without sacrificing consistency or quality
Some degree of manual labor required: transport & setup/breakdown of grip gear, sandbags, camera & lighting equipment, etc.
