Description
Nurseis a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for agroup of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to thesepatients via the nursing process and other input from healthcare team members. Under direct supervision of the Unit Director, the primary responsibilities ofthe clinical nurse include the direct nursing care of patients in PACU boarding utilizing thenursing process; development and application of leadership, management, andcommunication concepts; teaching of patients and staff; maintenance ofprofessional standards. Salary range: $83.31-$83.31 Hourly
Qualifications
JobQualifications: · Clinicalskills applicable to nursing specialty · Writingskills to accurately document the operative procedure with all interventions;i.e., drug and supply dispensing, equipment measurements and team memberpresence · Skills insetting priorities, organizing workload effectively and integrating multipleassignments with multilevel personnel. · Skill inspeaking the English language with excellent medical/surgical terminology. · Abilityto comply with department standards inclusive of: attendance, dress code andvaried work schedule. · Must haveat least 2 years of ICU and/or PACU experience · ACLS andPALS within 6 months of hire · BSN orMSN degree required. Current and valid California RN license required. OfficialTranscripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must beprovided upon hire
