The clinical nurse is a professional RegisteredNurse who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients fora designated time frame and provides care to these patients using the nursingprocess in accordance with the standards of professional nursing practice. Theclinical nurse performs in the professional role as described by the AmericanNurses Association (ANA); engaging in activities related to ethics, education,evidence-based practice and research, quality improvement, leadership,collaboration, professional practice evaluation , resources utilization,environmental health, and patient advocacy as appropriate to clinical nursingpractice.
BSN or MSN, required
BLS from AHA or ARC, required
2 years or more of previous Adult Psychiatry RN experience, required
Current valid CA RN license, required
