People & Culture Assistant/ HR Generalist in Jacksonville, Florida Jacksonville, Florida Contract/Temp to Hire LHH is seeking a People & Culture Assistant assists and supports the People & Culture team by improving and increasing People & Culture operations effectiveness.
The People & Culture Assistant will gain hands-on experience and knowledge about Human Resources functions in a professional-administrative office setting.
Responsibilities: Recruiting Support Job advertisement Resume screening Phone screening Scheduling interviews Administering assessments Drafting offer letters Onboarding efforts including processing new hire paperwork Processing background and drug screening orders Conducting Orientation classes Special Projects (strategic initiatives, retention & attraction, etc.) Contribute ideas to improve processes in an idea-driven culture.
Data Management & Administrative Duties Uploading information into applicant tracking system, as well as uploading employee information into company HRIS system.
Preform audits on existing data Research efforts related to training opportunities, career fairs, competition, compensation, federal and state employment laws Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with all levels.
Bachelor’s degree in progress (or completed) within Human Resources, Business, or similar discipline.
