Job Title: Warehouse Operations Lead
Location: 10268 Almond Ave, Fontana CA 92335
Terms: 3/12 or 4/10 Work Schedule – Hourly
Pay Rate : $20.75 – $.50 cent shift differential for night shift
A shift- Sunday through Wednesday 5:30am – 7:30pm
B shift – Wednesday through Saturday 5:30am – 5:00pm
D shift- Thursday through Saturday 4:00pm – 6:00am
Immediate Responsibilities:
- Assist supervisor on the day to day operation pertaining to safety, quality and production.
- Assist on the training of new associates, provide support and guidance.
- Ensure work is being assigned to associates in a FIFO (First In First Out) method.
- Ensure that the right (OutBound) equipment is backed onto a dock bay by date according to loading assignment.
- Confirm that associates are loading into the right trailer/door and are loading high and tight.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy on paperwork (Receipts/Pallet ID Tags) relevant to freight being loaded.
- Report productivity summary totals onto supervisor of all activity for the day.
- Keep areas neatly organized free of broken pallets, debris, shrink wrap etc.
Qualifications/Requirements
- 1+ year(s) of warehouse/cross-dock experience.
- Basic math skills to accurately add, multiply, divide and subtract.
- Well spoken and confidence to speak to an audience of 10-25 people.
- Organized and strong in communication.
Physical Requirements
- Flexible for weekend work.
- Walk/stand up to 90% of the duration of shift withstanding moderate to high temperatures.
- Able to lift up to 35lbs.
