nn nn n nn nn Description nn nnA new and fast growing venture backed luxury fashion company is seeking an experienced Pattern Maker to join their team full-team, in their Los Angeles headquarters.

This position will work closely with the Design and Technical Design to make sure factory samples and patterns align with specifications.

The core responsibility of the Pattern Maker will be sampling and sewing small production runs.

He or she will be working closely with the sewing, design, and production departments.

nn nn n nn nn Responsibilities nn Translate drawing of clothing designs into paper/fiberboard cutouts, replicating shapes of clothing patterns Make sure alterations and corrections are completed in a timely manner and all patterns are updated Sample and sew small production runs Work in partnership with Technical Design to make sure factory samples and patterns align with specifications Assess factory patterns to ensure accuracy, fit, and construction details are aligned with factory requirements Participate in fittings Make pattern alterations as necessary based on feedback regarding fit/design Work in congruence with project schedules Provide further assistance to Development and Design Teams as needed nn n nn nn Qualifications nn 4-6 years of pattern-making experience Extremely detailed oriented Experience working in high-end luxury fashion Strong knowledge of standard pattern making skills to develop/edit paper patterns for women’s and men’s clothing Ability to work under tight deadlines and under pressure Ability to work with a variety of clothing styles and complicated pattern requirements.
