Patient Registration Rep

Daily Responsibilities: 

Assisting in proper identification of the patient, collection of patient demographics information, financial counseling, coordination with the hospitals bed assignment process as well as anticipating and responding to the non-clinical needs of patients and their families. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a hospital Patient Registration department, physician office setting, healthcare insurance company, revenue cycle vendor, and/or other revenue cycle related roles.
  • Education: High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Comfortable working in ER
  • Full COVID vaccination as required by state mandate

Hours for this Position: 24/7 availability for various shifts including weekends

*Candidates must be flexible for any shift (day, evening, overnight). They will likely be covering a lot of evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. They will be given a schedule so this is not an on call position
