Share Requisition # HRC0595149The Patient/Provider Services Representative handles the administrative activities for the call center. This position responds to a large amount of incoming calls, open and maintain member inquiry by detailing information and handling complaints. This position works with a wide range of internal and external partners, including physicians, senior management, managers, and office staff. Will work independently and take initiative.Job Duties and Responsibilities:* Serves as a liaison between providers, patients, health plans and other internal departments throughout the Cedars-Sinai providing superb customer service, daily and weekly updates of call center activities to ensure success of department.* Provides operational support including training when appropriate.* Responds to issues pertaining to claims, eligibility, utilization/referrals, quality and/or marketing.* Handles complaints and provides appropriate solutions and alternative options.Education:High school diploma or GED required. AA or BS degree preferredExperience:* Three (3) or more years of experience in a medical practice, billing service, health plan or customer service department.
